After a frigid November, December has brought upon us temperatures in the 80’s to end the year. Nearshore trips have been productive with keeper size Black Sea Bass on the reefs and schools of big redfish in between. Inshore, the trout fishing has been great and the reds are in their winter pattern despite the warmer weather. The high temperatures have already given way to our annual algae bloom (“snotgrass).

This past week has been busy with groups coming to Myrtle Beach for Christmas and some of our repeat clients just coming down to enjoy the nice weather. Pictured, is one of our guests, David Adams, with a fun-size redfish from a school we found in McClellanville.
