This afternoon’s tarpon fishing trip had us dodging the weather all day, but we got a nice surprise with this 40lb+ Bull Red! We switched to redfish, and caught a few before the rain finally caught up with us.

After a 5 minute shower, we ran away from the rain to find a tarpon…and we DID! Michael did an excellent job on the rod, and I had the leader in my hand within 20 minutes! I would estimate this tarpon to be around 100lbs…not a bad start!

South Carolina tarpon season will be getting in to full swing, so call me for your tarpon fishing charter!
