I have to admit. It didn’t look like the bay was going to be happening this morning. I went to the North after gettting bait, but big thanks to Stump with www.pawleysislandguideservice.com for calling me back in; and congrats for them catching a tarpon also.
We hooked two channel bass, one on top live bait and one on an artificial. While unhooking the channel bass from the artificial, Smitty threw out a live bait, and the 1 hour 45 minute fight with a nice tarpon began! It was Smitty’s fish that he has been hunting for 15 years, and he caught it from start to finish. We had a great crew with Ryan, Chas and Smitty. Job well done by all!
